NBL 2012/13: Round Two Wrap Up

Melbourne and Townsville have found themselves down the table this week, with Perth and Wollongong strongly on top of the table.

Perth got another huge win, beating Townsville by 24, the biggest margin of the season so far. A points differential of 45 sees them top the table above Wollongong, who also managed a second win, against Cairns.

The Breakers managed to turn around after their loss to Perth last week, getting a healthy 14 point win against Adelaide. The defense got back to where they have been over the past few seasons, though the offensive effort was lacking at times until Cedric Jackson’s big effort in the 4th.

My call for Player of the Round? Either Cedric Jackson or Kevin Lisch.

Here’s the ladder at the end of Round 1.

W-L: The teams win-loss record
Win%: The percentages of games played that have resulted in wins
GB: Games behind (see here for details of Games Behind)
H: Home record
A: Away record
L5: Record for last five games
PF: Points for
PA: Points against
Diff: Points differential (PF-PA)
2011/12: Final ladder position in 2011/12
